I'm a life member of the NRA. I'm not convinced they're truly working that hard to preserve our gun rights.

Of the organizations out there (specific to guns or not), which one is actively doing the most work to protect the 2nd Amendment?

    Examples:
    Gun Owners of America? https://gunowners.org/
    Judicial Watch? https://www.judicialwatch.org/
    US Concealed Carry? https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/
Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership? Jews For The Preservation of Firearms Ownership
    Or another one?

    Thanks.

I'm a NRA and GOA lifetime member. GOA is pretty solid, IMO.

If I add another, I had been considering JPFO just because I like the entire concept. Jews should be the most pro gun mofos on the planet, yet it seems very few are. It also seems that the few that are take it very seriously and they have a pretty strong argument to present if pressed on it.

I'm also lifetime NRA and GOA member. I am paying $25/month for the benefactor level now. Also, USCCA membership is actually an insurance policy which is a good idea to have if you carry for self protection. I am also an ISRPA member and will probably get the lifetime membership next year. It's cheaper when you hit 60, lol. I also considered the 2A Project but I hadn't heard much about it recently so I guess I forgot about it. The NRA does a lot more than 2A lobbying so I will not abandon them. I like GOA's message and they do a lot for 2A.

Yes they do and they are THE pro-2A group the left attacks viciously and often. That should tell you something about their influence. They know how to "play the game". I joined the GOA several years ago. By way of saying thanks, they sent me a letter attacking the NRA. I had already paid the dues so I was in for a year. Didn't renew and told them in no uncertain terms what I thought of their initial response. At that time all they did was blow smoke, pound their chest, and have very limited, if any, impact. I don't know about the current situation with GOA but right here on INGO is the only place I ever hear of them.

I see NRA lawyers at the Indiana Statehouse when bills are in committee. I start seeing ANYONE from GOA I’ll consider sending them my money.

The 2A Project is more Indiana centric than NRA can be. Main goal is ConC here in Indiana.

I am a GOA member. Haven't joined NRA, kinda disgusted with them (between recent revelations and the terrible job they do with shooting sports).

NRA seems to be a dead man walking with orgs ready and waiting to fill their void. Already happening with some aspects of their existence.

I had the same experience with NAGR but not GOA. Are you sure it was GOA? Dudley still sends me emails. I have added probably 10 of his addresses to my blacklist but he keeps sending from different addresses.

This is why I'm a GOA lifetime member... and that idiot Morgan doesn't have a show on CNN anymore spouting his idiocy.

I feel GOA, and the rest of us, have good reasons to be cross with the NRA. I'm not about to insist they revoke my lifetime membership over it nor am I ashamed to say I'm a lifetime member of either group.

My answer is obvious: join either or preferably both. More 2A advocacy, more better. I like that GOA takes a hard line and I like that NRA has lots of lobbying power. If NRA became a bit more GOA, I'd become a benefactor member.

I've been a Life Member of the NRA for a long time.

I'm also a Life Member of the Second Amendment Foundation.
They actively are involved in defending our rights.

I keep hearing about the 2aProject, but I keep running into a wall when trying to learn about them of "what makes them different" and "what more do they bring to the table as compared to GOA and, to an extent, NRA". They say they want to work on IN gun laws, but at the same time talking about national level work. Seems like it's still trying to find it's niche, but just seems like it doesn't offer anything new to the fight.
