    Florida has had state preemption on gun laws since 1987, which was widely flouted until 2011 when the ability to sue infringing local governments and recover costs/fees And levy penalties was enacted by the Leg.

    i don’t know if there’s any exception for public emergency but I doubt it.

    How can they suspend a constitutional right? Unfortunately when they get sued the moment will have passed and they will drop it. Crazy times we are in.

    These officials have been pushing the envelope just like Michigans governor Whitmer. Whenever someone sues them they back off. I believe so far everyone that has challenged the stay at home order or closing of certain business has won against the state.
