Can someone tell me what is up with this new gun shop? I live 30 minutes away and had some time to kill on Wednesday. Stopped by at 4:15 p.m. and there was no one there.
    Store hours are T_ F 10-6
    Sat-10-5
    Sun 12-6
So I emailed them to see what was going on and still have not heard back from them.
To make matters worse, I had today off so I was going to go there and see what I can buy;)

I am glad I called before I made the trek over there. After 5-6 rings you get an answering machine. I assume no one is there, I don't have any other way to get a hold of them.
After two times of no one being there I am giving up on this shop, unless they have a good reason(accident, death in the family) why they don't want my money...

They either don't want to sell guns very bad or they are actually in the money-laundering business and are going to turn in huge receipts for accessories and services rather than traceable firearms?

I have heard good things about them on ingo but not very much interwebs wide. Mostly because they are new. I think they opened in Feb.

I remember a coffee shop in Plainfield that was open for a while several years ago. Roger had a major problem managing to honor his posted hours, so he finally solved that problem by not posting hours. Having no idea whether or not he would be open in what was pretty much a destination-only location did not do his business any favors, along with a number of other things. The fact that the establishment is nothing more than a memory speaks volumes about the results.

I got a great deal on an AR upper from them at the last 1500. They were straight shooters and easy to work with, but I can't speak to their availability in the store.
