    M&P10 .308 AR

    -
    18" barrel

    - Great used condition, has normal wear marks from usage, nothing major.

    - I purchased used last year, I've put somewhere around 500 rounds through it.

    - Fully ambidextrous: safety, mag release, bolt release.

    - Rifle has been completely detail stripped, cleaned, and freshly lubed with Slip2000.

    - [STRIKE]Seems to prefer commercial .308 ammo versus 7.62 nato ammo (fairly common for these rifles if you read on the S&W forums). I've experienced mixed results with the ZQI ammo that I have (147gr 7.62 nato M80), the rifle will intermittently short stroke with this ammo, mainly due to the lower pressures of 7.62 nato. This rifle uses a smaller gas port than other 308 AR rifles and was really designed around hunting and higher pressure .308 hunting ammo. I've had a limited supply of better .308 ammo and the accuracy along with reliability seemed to be much better. There is nothing broken or defective, it's just the nature of the beast. YMMV. [/STRIKE]
*Edit, I have enlarged the gas port to 0.077" (was 0.068") to correct the intermittent cycling issues the rifle was experiencing with 7.62 Nato ammo. I have ran 120 rounds through the rifle with zero failures since the gas port enlargement. I believe it will run 100% now.

I did some testing at 100 yards using 3 shot groups with irons, the results are as follows (best groups listed, shown in pics below):
    1.19" - Fiocchi 150 gr FMJ
2.04" - Federal (168 or 175 gr, not sure which) Sierra Match King BTHP
2.05" - Black Hills (168 or 175 gr match, not sure which) BTHP
    2.23" - Federal XM80CL 149 gr FMJ
2.87" - Hornady (don't remember which, had a polymer tip)
    3.06" - ZQI 147 gr FMJ
    3.97" - Magtech 147 gr FMJ

    Package Options:
    A) $800 for the rifle, as pictured, w/ one 10rd factory mag.
    B) $850 for the rifle, as pictured, w/ all six mags.
    C) $1000 for the entire package. Includes: the rifle as pictured, all six mags, 225 rounds of brass cased ammo, extended charge handle, MidwayUSA sling, B5 systems keymod handguard (modified to fit), BCM polymer keymod rail section, 1" flashlight mount (scope ring that works well for this), black A2 grip, black Magpul SL-K stock w/Magpul M-Lok QD sling swivel socket (stock was FDE but has been Rit dyed black).

    Additional items:
$100 - 225 rounds of brass cased ammo (200 are ZQI, 8 are Federal BTHP 168/175gr, 17 are Federal XM80)
$30 - Strike Industries charging handle with extended latch
    $60 - (5) 20rd Magpul Pmags (4 have dust covers)
$5 - MidwayUSA basic black sling
$15 - B5 Systems black handguard (modified to fit and it's a tight fit)
$5 - BCM polymer section of keymod rail
    $5 - 1" Flashlight mount (it's a Weaver brand 1" scope ring)
    FREE - Factory S&W black A2 grip
$20 - Magpul SL-K black stock (was FDE but I have Rit dyed it black)
$10 - Magpul M-Lok QD sling swivel socket (currently mounted to the Magpul stock)

Not sure why there were so many shots on these targets below, kind of irrelevant I guess since this ammo produced the worst results.

    Back up for sale

Cycling issues have been resolved. I have enlarged the gas port which fixed the issue.

    Edit: lowered price as well
