Marlin 1894 Stainless
.44 Rem Mag / .44Spl
I purchased this rifle somewhere between 2010 and 2012. If buyer wants to know exact date of purchase I believe I still have the receipt and can look it up.
Rifle is in mint condition except for one minor scuff on the stock from bumping another rifle in my safe. Rifle is solid, with beautiful checkering on the stock, very well made handsome rifle.
Have never hunted with this rifle. It's only been a range gun. One range trip with the original sights and one with the new Skinner Sights. Less than 100 total rounds fired.
Just to be clear, this is not a JM stamped 1894. The MR in the serial number and the REP in the oval on the barrel indicate that this is a Remington made Marlin.
INCLUDES:
Original Factory Box
Owner’s Manual
Skinner Express Peep Sight (installed)
Skinner 1/4 x .400" Front Sight
I have the original Factory Semi-Buckhorn Rear Sight, Original Front Sight, Front Sight Hood, and Original Receiver Screws carefully packed in a plastic bubble wrap bag and packed in the original factory box.
Hammer Spur (new in bag never used)
A few features copied from the Marlin Website:
10-shot tubular magazine
Lever action with squared finger lever; side ejection; solid-top receiver; hammer block safety
American black walnut straight-grip stock; cut checkering; rubber rifle butt pad; swivel studs
20” barrel with deep-cut Ballard-type rifling (6 grooves)
1:38” twist rate
Adjustable semi-buckhorn folding rear sight, ramp front sight with brass bead and Wide-Scan hood. Solid-top receiver tapped for scope mount.
38 1/2" long
13 3/8” length of pull
6 1⁄2 lbs. approximate weight
$600
Face-to-face transaction with LTCH
I am located in Munster. Will discuss with buyer to determine a mutually convenient location.
