Super Colossal Stupendous Premium Grade purchased by me in 2004.

Barrel marked Springfield Armory (Illinois Springfield Armory)
WW2 Serial number, beautiful receiver and lock bar sight.
This one has original NOS parts, today he uses new and like new parts.
I Replaced the Boyds stock with a DGR standard grade stock.
Round count is less than 200, no place to shoot this one.

I know its a million mile-long shot, but I am searching for a certain WW2 M1 Springfield ser no. Is it by chance a Feb 1943 production gun?

If it is, can I get a pic of receiver/ser no ( or I will send you the serial no I am seeking ....1,376,xxx) and you can tell me how close it might be.

If its what I am looking for, of course my interest would be strong.

    thanks

Would this be considered collector grade? I've been wanting a Garand for a long time, but have never "pulled the trigger" on one.

I would not consider this a collector grade rifle, rather a high grade shooter with WW2 receiver. Check out the Fulton Armory or Orion 7 links for a better idea.

This rifle was built using a choice WW2 receiver with new barrel with (DGR stock) all other parts were NOS postwar Springfield Armory (USGI), not the Illinois based company. The Garand Guy purchased a large stock of genuine parts when Springfield Armory closed.

He cannot build this rifle today as his part stock is depleted.

This is a great rifle and as close to new GI issue as one could get.
