    SOLD...

Safe queen. I took this in a trade several years ago and know very little about it. It is in very good condition and the bore is amazing. I can email more pictures if needed. $500 OBO

    Located north of Fort Wayne.

EDIT: I got this from a fellow INGO'r. Thank you Harold.

I am a collector (in small numbers) older military rifles that are cartridge capable rifles; however, they must be loaded with black powder not modern powder.

Not sure if you want the information, as it might spark interest to a newer collector, or not.

Here is some information for you on your Rolling Block:

1.) It is of Danish production.
2.) Based on the photo, I will say it was manufactured in 1874.
3.) It looks like it would probably chamber a .45-70 Gov't, but I would not shoot it using that cartridge. The actual cartridge is the 11.7x51R (Danish). The cartridge is for sale (via the internet) for anywhere from about $85.00 and up.
