Back up as seller back out. I'm selling my World War II Japanese Arisaka Type 99 rifle. The gun has anti-aircraft sights, but does not have the dust cover or monopod (which is pretty typical). It also has a ground mum, which is also typical. The gun comes with an actual Japanese Type 99 bayonet (not a repro) and will come with 80+ rounds of 7.7 Jap ammunition for it. The rifle is in great shape and is shooting condition. This is a good one to add to your WWII collection.
Since I've had a few questions, the rifle was made by Nagoya Arsenal with no series markings (which from what I can tell means it was made in the first batch of 100,000 produced, also known as a "No Series" gun). The bayonet was made under supervision of Kokura (unknown subcontractor).
I'm asking [STRIKE]$500[/STRIKE] $450. I'm willing to drive 20 minutes from Brownsburg to meet FTF.
I'm also opening up interests in trades. No bolt guns, military or otherwise, unless they are left handed. I'm getting out of the bolt game entirely pretty much. I'm too old for the left handed reach-around.
Semi auto rifles, lever guns, handguns (pistols or revolvers), and either Winchester 1897s (and Chinese clones) or maybe the Chinese Winchester 1887 12ga shotguns, are all possible trades that I'm interested in. Adding a particular interest in one of the Beretta 81 .32s that have been hitting the market. I would also be interested in a Remington 1873 in .45 with a 7" barrel or a Colt 1873 Peacemaker in .45 with a 7" barrel (clones obviously)
