Cleaning out the safe I found my old duty shotgun. This thing rode in the trunk of my squad for years until patrol rifles were approved. 870s finish’s suck so it has a spray paint paint job that needs to be redone or leave it as is for a true beat around work gun look. This thing was the best 15 years ago but times have changed. Haha... but bad guys truly do fear shotguns more then other types of guns. Something about that big barrel pointing at them scares them.

i cant even guess how many rounds are through this I carried it for years and qualified with 20 00-buck and 20 slugs every year. Plus dropped a few animals over the years with it and practiced probably 200 rounds a year (even shot a round of skeet once with it for fun).
Its not pretty (or maybe it’s beautiful if your like me and like the work gun look) and the round count is pretty high but it never let me down.
