I won a Henry Golden Boy 22LR at the Friends of the NRA dinner in Richmond this year.

I have not shot it yet but am curious about the lack of conversation on this sight about Henry Rifles.

What do you people think of them?

    Love the way they look...

Like the history behind the name...

    Have never shot one.

Don't like the lever's movement (I'm spoiled by Brownings BL-22)...

My father has a Goldenboy, but has never shot it. He also has a BL-22, also NIB. Both are extremely nice weapons and the BL-22 has a very short throw.

My brother does have a Henry .22 Mag, and it is a very good shooter. I don't care for the receivers on the entry level Henry's.
He put a scope on it, which is okay, but lever guns need tang or peep sights.
