Been awhile since I have been on here, but I thought I would chime in to say I picked up my first AR15. The gun is a Del-Ton with a 16 inch barrel and M4 style collapsible stock. Pretty excited and so far I have mounted a Leaper's scope on the carry handle though it needs to be sighted in. Pics will be uploaded when I have more time. *about to leave for work*

Just wanted to share and ask everyone's thoughts on Del-Ton I have $700 in it and it came with a foam lined case, sling, and cleaning kit wrapped in what looks like a green canvas pouch. :ar15:

Here is a pic from when I picked it up at the shop.

Here she is with the Leaper's scope, still needs sighted in though.

Congrats on the new rifle, however you broke the cardinal rule, you posted about a new acquisition, yet failed to provide the mandatory pictures.

So consider yourself penalized -200 internets.

First ones are always the best. I bought mine earlier this year (even though I can't shoot it much since I am at AIT now for the ARMY:patriot:), Anyways! Congats. They are addicting. My initial game plan was to buy one used for $600-$800. Then add 2-300 in accessories. My budget was 1000-1200 TOPS.....Well I ended up buying on used that was pretty built up for $1200. Top of my price range.

Then I realized that I was addicted and started buying cases, optics, conversion kits, etc. All said in done I spent over $2k in 1 week on it!!! Then AMMO!!!!

So go ahead, open up the wallet, pull out a couple bills and build it up INGO style:ingo:

I've been pretty surprised and happy with the Del-Ton LPKs I've been using to do some builds. Happy shooting!
