    ... until they do.

Preparing some photos for my Iverson AK course AAR, and thought I'd share these separately. The unfortunate victim was our very own akaindy. I've never seen anything like it. Henk hadn't either. Immediate action had no effect; time to transition to pistol, or transition to Nike!

Seen that a few times with 2, but 3 is a new one on me.

Frankly I have seen AKs jam more frequently than I am comfortable to admit.

It wants you to convert it to full auto, It's tired of not being allowed to cycle as many rounds as it wants when the trigger is pulled. It will continue to do so until you convert it.

I had two fail at the same time at the range once. Seriously I thought the world was going to end, like a Steven Hawkins type end of the world.

Can someone with skills verify this isnt photoshopped?

Everybody's a skeptic these days. I was there and saw it with my own eyes, as did many others in the class. akaindy took the picture with my camera.

As unlikely as it seems, it happened. Much like the 1911 swallowing the empty case backwards, which incidentally also happened in an Iverson course. Maybe Henk is just a bad karma magnet! :):

    Its a 7.62x39 Menage a trois :):

5.45x39, actually. You couldn't even begin to fit three of those fattie 7.62x39s in there. ;)

Ak's rarely have issues, but when they do, you're always like, "how the **** did this happen?!"

AR issues are usually more frequent, but less significant.

I am only guesing here, but the only thing I can think of is if 1) the magazine lips were somehow spread out a little, 2) magazine spring was weak, allowing recoil to "bounce" the follower down, loosening rounds in the mag, 3) then somehow allowing the several rounds to be pushed straight up and out of the mag, then jammed forward by the bolt. :dunno:
