Already picked up a dog for the kids from the Humane Society this summer but I still could not help bringing home another uner appreciated beast.

Had a buddy call me a couple of weeks ago. He knew I was considering adding a non-hunting type shotty to the safe. Since he was looking for a little extra gas money for an upcoming hunting trip he offered up something he had not used in several years. A Remington 870 magnum. This one happens to have an 18" barrel, wood furniture, mag extension and the shorter handguard. Only problem is that the gun would not feed shells from the mag. To many years sitting loaded in a basement, forgotten and unloved. Well a little TLC (actually CLP ;)) and this old dog will hunt once again. Have a new Wilson Combat mag spring and follower on order just for good measure.
