Have looked at a Remington 710, just wanted to get opinions from anyone having experience with it.

I have had one of these. For what is intended to be(a cheap hunting rifle) I would give it high marks. Out of the box accuracy was fine(adjust or get someone else to adjust that crazy 9.5 ton trigger pull). The bolt is not near as smooth as a 700 due to the PLASTIC in the reciever.I heard they changed the new ones,now called 770 back to metal. For around 300 dollars you are not getting hurt at all.

Excellent gun. Very Accurate. BUTT UGLY and CHEAP feeling stock.
