Thinking about getting one, anyone know if any dealers carry them or will I have to look on line, I personally like to fondle guns before I buy them, I don't reload but my good friend does, he's reloaded for me for a long time and I trust him. Any input would be great.

Yes I have, I know they are not cheap, looking at a Uberti or Taylor and CO. Cheapest i have seen is around $1,000

    Just checkin'.
I happened upon an 1885 Low-Wall a couple of years ago, and it got me interested in the High/Low-Wall lines.
I would love to have a High-Wall in .45/70govt. myself.

On my budget, I went with the .45/70 Handi-Rifle.
I like it a lot, but I'd still like to have a High-Wall.

My version was a TC side lock muzzleloader with a custom reworked barrel.
Five hundred for the rifle and the barrel. Same accuracy. Same molds. Serious fun.
