I'm putting a Kidd 10/22 together and I'm to the point of choosing a stock. Surprisingly enough, I'm having trouble finding a stock that will accept the rear tang option on the Kidd receiver.

I'm thinking I want to go with a wood, laminated, thumbhole stock. I've contacted Boyds, Stockys, and a few others. So far no joy. Another option is to find somebody to do the inletting.

Does anybody have any experience with this type of stock or work?

Head over to Rimfire Central. There are few guys on there that are doing this. They have a dedicated 10/22 Stock heading in their message forum. I have 3 Kidd builds and you are going to love the finished product!
