Local threading for Savage Rascals

Anyone out there threading barrels locally for Savage Rascals?

From what I've read elsewhere online, they need to have the below:

"threading the barrel itself 3/8-20 and then making a small adapter that has 3/8-20 internal threads, and an outside 1/2-28 threads with a .625 shoulder."
