    It's like sports cars, a stripped down track version costs $10k more than the standard street version.

    for $3700 I am surprised it has a faxon barrel... I mean they are good barrels but not super expensive. I guess the cost is in the carbon fiber?

    Wouldn't dropping the weight down that far have a negative impact on felt recoil and muzzle control? I'm all for keeping things light, but some weight is beneficial isn't it?

    Yeah my first thought too. For $3700 I want something far more upscale than Faxon. Yeah Faxon is Caddy but for that money I want Bentley.
