Hello! I am contemplating buying a Vector Arms V93. I have always wanted an HK 93 clone. Does anyone have any experience with Vector Arms rifles? This rifle comes with a 5 year warranty. I've read that the Century Arms C93 builds are hit and miss. Is the Vector built gun worth the higher price over the Century? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks-Matt

I had one for a couple of years. The parts kit are from Malaysia so the barrel has 1/12 twist. Would've been better in a 1/9 like what the C93 have. For me, I just wasn't getting the accuracy I wanted. Build wise, it is top notch. I would say it was worth the 1K I spent for it. The triggers are horrible. Common for the HK trigger pack. Oddly, my PTR32 trigger feels much smoother and not as heavy on the trigger pull.
My sons love to shoot it.

For about $70 Bill Springfield can make the trigger on an HK or clone much, much better. I sent in the trigger pack from PTR91 and had back within a week. The difference was night and day.

I've read some people having issues with bolt gap on some of the Vector HK clones. I just wanted to get an idea of what level of quality to expect be for dropping $1200 on the gun. I may just save some money and get a CZ BREN 805. Havnt decided yet. Thanks for all the imput. :)

I forgot to mention about mags. Hk mags are crazy pricey. I've used allot of the MKE mags and had to modify the mag catch area on them so they would lock up. After that those mags ran top notch. I never tried the Promag but people are saying they run well.

I thought MKE was making a 93 clone? Could be wrong, but if so that is the one I would buy.
On another note I used to have an HK 93, sold it off years ago during the Clinton AWB and jumped on the AR platform for 5.56. AR's are more accurate and more parts availability at the time. At that time 93 spare parts were far and few between and like Audie mentioned mags were through the roof with pricing.
