Just me? Any excuse to build another?

Bought a DD5V1 & was going to use a fixed 3x Vortex on it. Liked it, but then Alan posts about some refurbed Vortex Scopes, so had to buy one, it's a rule or something.

While perusing my extra stuff, tried the 3x on some other toys, none seemed to fit. So,

Ordered 16" Ballistic Advantage Barrel (.300, my others are 8.5"), Aero Enhanced Upper & Gen 2 Rail, etc. Also ordered Magpul ACSL Stock. I now know what one of my INGO Lowers will be.

Thinking of Black / Green Multicam cerakote job.

Still need to order BCG & Charging Handle, hoping for some great July 4th deals! Already have spare ASR .308 mount (Flash Hider).

What's your best "excuse" for another build?

I am of the firm belief that, given sufficient time, and with very little forethought, something as small as an extra roll-pin or a detent spring, can turn into a complete rifle.
