I love my Alumina scope caps for the Leupold that sits on my 39A.
Butler Creek caps aren't perfect, but they still serve their purpose.

I just bought a new Leupold scope and it comes with a cloth sock that can entirely cover it while mounted. I think that's a great solution, too.

I have some Butler Creeks. They work fine. Prefer my neoprene Cabelas cover. It's cheap weight is nothing and it's one less thing mounted on gun.
