Welp, probably gonna have to buy one. I have a CZ 527 Carbine but that looks useful. I like the fact they went with Mini-30 mags. Only questions I have are how does it handle steel cased euro ammo with their hard primers and what is what is the bore diameter? .308 American or .311 Commie.

    Oh snap.

I know someone who really likes the idea of the Mini-30, but not some of the specific attributes of the gun. They might REALLY like this one.

I wish they'd gone with the same stock comb system as the rimfires and added some simple open sights. This would be a great youth deer rifle. I like a shorter length of pull as well for my eastern European stubby build.

Alright, this REALLY intrigues me. I have a question for you ballistics guys though. Out of the 16' barrel, how does the x39 compare to other popular .30 cal rounds like the .300 blk and the .308. I have a TON of x39 laying around, and frankly just don't shoot my AK enough.

Depending upon the groove diameter and the twist the Ruger could be a nice small game cast bullet piece.

I kept on looking at the CZ527, but I do have a Mini 30 in the safe. No brainer for me. Sign me up!

I went to a local gun shop to look at a CZ 455 and saw the 527 in 7.62X39 and now I can't stop thinking about it. I don't own anything in that caliber, so it would be a new round I'd have to buy.

crap. CZ just introduced a new 527 with a threaded barrel and now I have to choose lol

I'd like the one with the wood stock and irons. If they made a scout scope mount for it, there would be one in my possession already.
