I just paid $300 for a like new Yugo Mauser 48. Did I get bent?

$300 is a decent price for an M48 these days, especially if all the numbers match. If non-matching then it's worth a little less.

One of my first milsurp purchases about 6 years ago, a Yugo M48A cost me $350, which was on the high side back then (but it looked unissued). Now that seems to be the norm (or sometimes a little higher). I was just ahead of my time. Or just naive. I prefer ahead of my time.

Seems to be about what they run for at any of the people who sell them in quantity, I'd say you did alright. Which factory is it?

I have it in layaway. Only had 60 bucks with me. I have to go back for it later this week. I've been looking for one a nice Mauser. It was impulse in that I reAlly like it but I have been planning on one for a while. I just bought it with out checking current prices. I will post as soon as pick up. I am currently camping in a remote location in the mobile command unit.

Yes, stock, trigger group, receiver and bolt are all matching numbers.
