    As long as it wasnt sporterized and the bore is in good condition you did pretty good.

    Did you get a sling and bayonet?

    One of my first milsurp purchases about 6 years ago, a Yugo M48A cost me $350, which was on the high side back then (but it looked unissued). Now that seems to be the norm (or sometimes a little higher). I was just ahead of my time. Or just naive. I prefer ahead of my time. :):

    I have it in layaway. Only had 60 bucks with me. I have to go back for it later this week. I've been looking for one a nice Mauser. It was impulse in that I reAlly like it but I have been planning on one for a while. I just bought it with out checking current prices. I will post as soon as pick up. I am currently camping in a remote location in the mobile command unit.

    Gunbroker says you did well. All are priced way higher. Of course the only 2 with bids are in the same ballpark that you paid.
