I have an old aya side by side 20 ga that dates to 1942. Problem is that it is missing the firing pin, firing pin spring and the bushing. Anyone got any ideas on who to go to find replacements? I have already checked numrich and it's got nothing

AYA is a Basque made shotgun from Spain....These are essentially handmade and hand fitted....I would go to shotgunworld.com and check in the Spanish forum...AYA is a big outfit and still in business so you can try with them as well...Jack Haugh was the gunsmith stateside for Purdey, Holland and Holland, etc...and is out of Milan Indiana...It is my understanding his son took over the trade and he would be your best bet as I imagine you will have to have these parts handfitted to your weapon...He may also know where to get the parts....

I have more than a few Basque side by sides....I love them....

Am I missing something good in the classifieds? Is it because of tax refunds? :dunno:

EDIT: Runner got clipped; now it's just my post. :(
