Be more like Century Arms and just ignore incorrectly constructed and heat treated rifle parts. Better yet, just make a new model to use those extra failed first model parts.

Nah, they're doing the right thing. Just sucks for them that the two issues happened as close together as they did.

I don't think it's as clean as that, they got "caught" with the 320 and barely made it right, now this! What choice did they have? Sig has been on a downward spiral for a minute, and their "quality" or lack thereof has shown it over the last few years.

I'm trying to be nice. Every manufacturer faces issues at one point or another. I've owned a few and in general I don't care for Sig firearms, the sole exception being the MPX. I'll likely end up with one of those at some point, I think they knocked it out of the park with that one.

You sold me a bag for the MPX, I guess I owe you a little range time with it. Just say when.

I've shot one and loved it. I'll have one, just have a few things higher on the priority list at the moment. An MPX was supposed to be my reward to myself when I got my son's college paid off but I went and bought a truck so I've got to get it set up like I want it then I'll pick one up. I'm hoping the NFA process might speed up by then so I can buy a factory SBR and not have to wait 18 months for the stamp.

Indeed they have. The only Sigs I own are German/W. German or early US made. I've owned a couple of the "Cohen era" Sigs and they have performed miserably. He has turned the company into a joke with lackluster QC. It's the same path he steered Kimber down.

I have owned four Sigs. A 2340, 2009, 556, and 716. I have only had an issue with the 716, which resulted in a replaced bolt, but have been following their products enough to know to be wary. My 556 (pistol converted to SBR) has been flawless, but I belong to the SIG556 forum, and the issues with the platform have been well documented there. I believe the MCX and/or MPX has had some early issues as well.

Who knows how widespread these things really are, but they do seem to have more problems than others.
