Mossberg Patriot

Anyone have experience with the Mossberg patriot? Won one in a raffle last night. It's a .243 with fluted barrel and bolt. Has a crossfire II 3x9 installed. Seems to be a pretty nice rifle. Now I might have to try it on deer this next month. Sure made my night.

Great rifle.
My brother has the same rifle with different glass.
I have the Patriot in .30-06.

I pulled it out of the box and put on a Leupold that I'd pulled from an AR10.
First 3 shots with no adjustments made a sub 1" group at my hunting distance (about 45 yards).
Subsequent rounds downrange showed like groups.

I plan to try mine on a deer if the chance is presented.
