Price check on S&W M&P Sport 15-22...$300?

Stumbled across this while looking to buy a different AR, had to do a double take at the price. Is this a great deal or am I just full of bloodlust for a new rifle? Thinking about buying this a Christmas gift for my son. I haven't found a better price online, or really that much close to it. Shipping is about $8, and my transfer will be $15 or $25. Would be a nice companion piece to the Sport II in 556 I am looking at.

That is a good deal. Any price under $300 for a 15-22 (especially the new model with the slim handguard) is a good deal. Thanks for posting. My buddy has been looking for one for his boys.
