Just got a 450 BM it has a new bolt handle and muzzle brake from Tomix I sighted it in at 100 yards and it held a 1/2" group with Nikkon 3x9 awesome little rifle

Sounds very nice. The 450 BM is quite an accurate round. Definitely a deer hammer. There is a reason its called the 'thumper'.

2722 ft-lbs of energy, yowza! 168gr 308 win is 2700. We've used a Nikon 3-9x50 for 3 years and its handled the recoil just fine.

How is the recoil on the Ruger 450?
