Bump stock on a 9mm ar

Anyone know if a 9mm ar will cycle a bump stock?

I know they can be made to work on .22 rifles, so I would be willing to bet they would work on a 9mm

I had an OOB discharge with mine. Never tried it again.

I seen on a utube of the OOB discharge. That person thought it was the Promag 9mm block, because when he inspected it afterwards the block was damaged. His was on the 4th shot. Looks like it was probably the buffer and or spring. I bought a complete upper still need a block and mags.

You might have to play with your buffer, but I've known a few guys who said it takes more practice than with a 5.56 AR.

Thanks for all the info. I ended up buying a used PSA complete upper and a used Hahn adapter and ASC mags. Shot 100 rounds, %80 bump fire and not one problem of any kind. It is great fun and a lot cheaper than 556.
