Oh how it pays to know people.

I just pulled the trigger on this,
    www.gunbroker.com/item/767598712

I saw it on the shelf and couldn't walk away.
My friend pulled it off the shelf and stuck it back in the shop safe.
I got a verbal deal for $800 out the door, with nothing down, and no time limit to pay!

Brand new with one mag and a hard case.
This will be my entry into the 6.5 Creedmore caliber.
So, how do you think I did?

Looks nice! I know that that's a bolt gun, but do you know if 6.5 CM will fit in a standard AR-10 (DPMS pattern) mag/lower? If so I was thinking it might be kinda fun to get an upper in that caliber for my existing PA-10. I'm too much of a tightwad to buy or build a dedicated rifle right now. :):

Don't know, but the Howa 6.5 Creedmoor uses the Howa .308Winchester magazine.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe the Creedmoor uses the .308 as a parent case.
If this is the case, then I would guess it should fit in a DPMS pattern AR10, if the overall length isn't too long.

.308 not the parent. 3000 savage maybe?

'Scuse me. 30 T/C which does come from .308 parentage.
