Picked this up used from a Copperhead Ridge in Avon.
Wasn't quite sure what to expect from it. I researched the serial number and it was made in 1974. From the reviews and other forums it seemed like anyone who owned it, but sold it regretting parting with it. So I was cautiously optimistic.
Did notice the scope was loose when I got it home. Tightened up the screws and got out to the range this past weekend.

The five shots to the right was the first group after the final scope adjustment (final shot on the left). This group was 100 yds.
Thought it was pretty great considering it was the first time I'd shot a big rifle cartridge and there was some flinch factor, and the age of the rifle.
