    A new fun rifle project.
Got UTG clamps with picatinny rail tops to fit an octagonal barrel.
Got another pistol scope on order.
Now I need second or third hand Traditions Deerhunter.
Add a barrel to shoot .357 molds paper patched and voila!, precision plinker, critter dispatcher, new fun gun.
Will make the barrel diameter so's to hang like a Remington .22.

    Picture...
That's a Deerhunter with an octagonal to tapered round smoothbore shotgun barrel.
    Very handy, very light weight.

Nowadays it's a challenge to find a used one with a wood stock instead of black plastic.

It's a sunny day, the birds are singing and there's a CVA Bobcat a'coming.

Will mount the scope, see how she handles and take it from there planning the new barrel size and length, bore and groove diameters, rifling geometry and twist.

Ready to go. Maybe the rain will break off after the shower curtain gets hung.
