Sportsman’s Outdoor Superstore had these listed last week, they didn’t last long. Anyone else manage to snag one? They had solid stock 870’s at $230 shipped and original Remington top folders for $240 shipped, each 870 came with a hard case.

I almost bought a folder but ended up not going through with the order, decided on a solid stock once the folders sold out after an hour from the time I first saw them.

The 870 I received is in excellent shape, the barrel date is 1972, it has an S prefix serial number. They all had bayonet adapters and ONG engraved in the outline of the state of Ohio on the side. Mine came with a black sling.

i missed out.. lol. Maybe i'll run onto one second or third hand.

But a question.. Do you guys think the ONG used the ones with folding stocks? seems to me that would be a police add on after they were surplused out.
