VEPR12 or VR80?

Opinions needed; VEPR12 or VR80? For primarily defensive purposes, and ignoring the price difference for now, which would you choose and why?

The Lynx LH-12 has gotten very good reviews and is probably the better alternative if price matters. It uses Saiga furniture and mags.

Yes the Veprs are pricey and Russian mags are unobtanium, but they just feel good and work.

Biased opinion of a Vepr owner.

Thanks for the opinion! So, in general, you're advocating for the AK style over AR style?
