    Finally got to shoot mine.
    Just rough it in.
    WW 150 gr .30-06

Popped the bolt out and looked through the tube.
Bore sighted it at 50. Fired 2 shots, low and left.
Adjusted and was OK L to R but kinda high, adjusted and was low.
    Hmmm.

Redfield Revolution have the same quirks as Leupold oldies?
Everything is torqued to spec and blue Loctited.

Recknagel base, Burris Signature Zee rings (med) and Redfield Revolution 3-9x50mm.

    Trigger is a bit heavy.

Went to the 100 and shot two about a 1/2 inch apart, 1.5" high. Then threw one 1.5" left.
    Was shooting off bipod.

There is no rail to crowd the bipod feet to.
Bench boards are in line w rifle.
No bipod slip into board spaces.

Odd, but same bench, I've had an occasional lefty from my 700 too.
And I'm not coming off the gun.

Will try bags only next time. After trigger adjustment.
Did get a spare mag and softer pad from MGW.

Was not bad to shoot. Thing is a bit heavy, figured that'd help.

I bought a lightly used Pro Hunter in .308 on a bit of a whim because the included Zeiss scope made it too good of a deal to pass up. I liked it well enough that I hunted down another in .25-06. I don't find them to be heavy at all, though I like a bit of weight in my rifles, but the handling was a bit funky at first. The triggers on both of mine are plenty light enough for hunting, though not near the target trigger realm. The replacement soft pad makes quite a difference over a long shooting session. I'm not sure why Steyr ever thought the cheap, hard plastic recoil pad was good idea. They were my biggest complaints about the rifles.

Mine does not have the set trigger.
It is a bit heavy for my taste.
Has two screws on the trigger itself.
    Dunno what may be elsewhere.

Zippo on the web about adjusting them.

I wasn't feeling well, was also hot.........and shooting it was just a bonk.
    Not unpleasant.
But then 150's should be comfy.

May head to Winamac next weekend to shoot 100 and 200.
    Elwood only has 100.

Yes, not bad at all but definitely different. One of my two is going to become my crappy weather rig for the times when I don't want to take a wood or laminate stocked rifles out.

Yup. exactly why i bought mine. Hunted the monsoon opener a couple yrs back w Ruger#1 RSI and said " not again ". Got a synth .30-06 for all around any weather workhorse.

Bass and Bucks in Wabash has a longer range, I believe their website has some info. I haven't shot there yet but a friend did and said it was worthwhile.
