I finally was able to get my Remington 40x 22lr USMC property marked set up like I want it. It has a period correct Jewel trigger with the good springs not new with the crappy springs, set at 4oz. It has a PTG bolt with all stock small parts. I have the factory trigger and bolt. Recieved my Unertl 20x back from a service from Parsons and was able to get it mounted. It also has the Olympic sights it came with originally. Pretty satisfied with the final result. Will get it out to shoot it this weekend. Will try to get some pics of its capabilities.

Pretty sharp. What's the purpose of the spring on the front scope ring?

(Also, there is a link to a video in my sig line on how to easily post pics.)

Its for absorbing recoil on larger caliber rifles, its called the magnum kit. Not to useful on the 22lr except for when its bumped.

I studied the pic post thread. It took me a while but finally got it figured out. Thanks for the vid it really helped btw.
