I curious about that also.
A while back, I traded into a magnesium stripped lower. Researching after the fact, I discovered that field "mortaring" to clear stuck cases often breaks these lower receivers, leaving them unrepairable.
While the New Frontier Armory lowers are billet aluminum, I wonder how vulnerable they are to this also?

I just saw this in a pistol on Expedition Overland last night.
I'm guessing there is a reason the original LAW folding adapters were aluminum, but now they are steel. While I can certainly appreciate the engineering that went into the Frontier, I don't like that it's aluminum and integrated into the receiver.

New Frontier Armory hopefully will sprinkle these to all of our Internet friends who write and video reviews.

Make the whole lower from premium steel and thin where you can to cut weight and I MIGHT consider this. Aluminum lower is not designed for stress of integral fold.
I’d like to see their FEA of the part.
The neck beards will bite that off with their teeth and spit it out.
I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a hand on.
I have been looking at folder adapters for a while now and agree that Ally is not the material of choice for this.
