    AR10 info search

Im taking my AR10 in rifle configuration and wanting to put it into a carbine configuration thats more user friendly for me. Im having a few issues finding parts and have a few questions that some could help with.

1 - I've been looking for a muzzle brake timing nut that will go over a .875 muzzle. Something similar to the Seekins Precision timing nut that will go over a .750 muzzle that hides the small space left between the nut and barrel after timing is accomplished. I haven't been able to find any manufacturer that makes one. My last resort is I'm thinking I'm going to have to have it custom made. Any info would be much appreciated.

2 - I'm looking for a Ace entry stock but not sure that one is made that is AR10 compatible. The ones that I have found that are far and few between are for AR15 platforms. I wasnt sure a standard AR10 carbine buffer spring and buffer would work either or if there is a designated spring and buffer that was a must. Any info on compatibility and location for sale would be much appreciated.

3 - I was wanting to use a Law folding adapter also but didnt know if they were compatible with AR10 platforms. The info on them I've been able to find is that theyre AR compatible with no AR15 or AR10 specifics. Any information would be much appreciated.

Im pretty set on my wanted design set-up and searching for knowledge to help me accomplish it. Any help would be appreciated.

    Not far from the tree
Last question could be answered by asking Law Tactical.

The Law Tactical Folding Stock Adapter works with direct impingement or gas piston systems and fits A2, carbine, mil-spec or commercial buffer tube and stocks. It can be used with standard bolt carrier groups including: full auto, semi auto, 5.56 to .308

    First paragraph on their page.

Its a Armalite platform, but wouldnt matter if it was a dpms pattern. The buffer tubes are the same.
Was able to talk to LAW last Monday and the folder will work for my rifle. I also was able to talk to Ace and Armalite about the Entry stock. It will work but will have to cut down my buffer spring to work as the Ace buffer is about 1.25" shorter than the stock carbine buffer tube. I think I'll go a different route than the Entry stock. The only thing I haven't been able to find out is if a timing nut for a barrel diameter of .875 is available. Its looking like I'll have to have one made. Will search a little more but its looking like thats my only route. If anyone has info about a timing nut, it would be much appreciated.

I was able to get configuration changed yesterday. Im still waiting for the LAW folder to arrive but that will be a quick installation. I cant find a timing nut available for a .875 barrel diameter so going to check prices on getting one made. Heres a before and after for those curious. Its weighs 8.2 with scope and mount now.
