Finally...bought a PSL. Been looking at PSL's for over 10 years and finally bought one. It's one of the new ones from the Cujir factory and never been issued. Barrel is stamped 2019. Picked up a Wolf PO 6x36 optic for it as well. The main item I'm looking for is a bipod for this thing. I don't know if my Google-fu is off but I'm not finding anything PSL specific anyway. Also slings. I see slings for AK's that look like ones from other photos I've seen but to me it looks like there are differences. Maybe I'm wrong. Could use some help on this one.

Pumpkin Spiced Latte. Picked it up from Classic Firearms. All the fun of a Mosin Nagant in a semi auto platform. An overgrown AK of sorts from Romania.

The PSL has a long barrel like an RPK light machine gun. It might be easier to find a bipod for an RPK that could be adapted to fit the PSL if you trying to keep all the parts in the same family.

BTW.. does this one chamber the 7.62x54r or the 7.62 NATO?

I've seen the RPK bipod and thought that might be viable option. I did see pics of a bipod mount that attached to the barrel and would accept a Harris bipod. I did not care for the looks of this. This gun is chambered in 54r.

    Yep this.

I had a PSL back in the early 2000s when you could buy one new for $850.00 and every gun shop had one. Accessories where scarce back then too. If you find Mags buy them don't look at the cost just buy them.

I first took notice of PSL's 10+ years ago and found some then for around that price. The one I bought came with 1 mag and I bought one more to go with it.

I agree, the Harris bipod does NOT belong on this rifle :>)

"Puşcă Semiautomată cu Lunetă." A Romanian DMR that is often mistaken for/misquoted as a Russian Dragunov. Think of it as an "oversized" AK shooting the hard-hitting 7.62x54r from detachable 10-round mags.

OP, not much more to do other than slapping on a rubber butt pad (though the recoil on these isn't bad at all) and a surplus sling. A barrel-attached bipod is going to affect harmonics and accuracy. Rob Ski of AKOU fame is obtaining 1 MOA with his PSL thanks to some light internal tweaking... check out his YouTube page for updates as they come out.

I'm having an issue with the place that I purchased the rifle and scope from. There's nothing wrong with the rifle. It's the scope. I purchased them as a package but the scope is not the correct one for the PSL. What should've been the PO 6x36-1 turned out to be a PO 6x36...meant for a Saiga. When I mounted the scope on the gun it was severely off center from the receiver. It's dumb luck that I own a Saiga AK and put the scope on it. It is much more centered to the Saiga's receiver than it is the PSL's. I've sent some emails and pics to these guys and they tried telling me I was installing it wrong. They eventually said if I wasn't satisfied with the scope I could return it. I was fine with that but I haven't heard from them since. That was Wednesday. I suppose they could be processing it and I might receive the label to ship it back tomorrow but I'm starting to get a little skeptical.

Ok I need some help with this. I'm pretty sure Classic is ignoring me now when questioning them about the optic. I even gave them the "disappointed" response on the ticket claim that my issue hasn't been resolved and I still haven't heard from them. It's been a week since that. So from the research I've done the Wolf PO 6x36-1 is meant for the PSL. The PO 6x36 is meant for the Saiga. The optic I received was the PO 6x36 in a PO 6x36-1 box. When looking at pics the mounts for these scopes are different. This is most likely not a Classic issue but I still can't get anywhere with them about returning it even though they said I could (they were also going to get me a label to send it back; no label after waiting almost 2 weeks). Before I get absolutely hateful with them (most likely on their Buyer's group FB page) I need to slow my role and ask questions elsewhere which happens to be here??? Sure. So I attached some pics of the optic I received the previous post. Now I've got some pics showing the optic on the PSL and on the Saiga. Give me some opinions. Is this right or is it the wrong optic? Also don't slam me for the condition of the Saiga. You'll see a couple things that don't look right.

I'd keep the scope and leave it on the Saiga. Then buy the RS Regulate lower mount made for the PSL and the full length picatinny mount and then buy a new scope for the PSL.

The PSL mounts the scope to the left side so you can use your irons when the scope is mounted as well.

at least my SVD is that way

however, the lever throw on that is towards the rear of the gun, the stop pin is in the rear, that absolutely is an AK mount, at least from what I see. it’s also high, real high. You may be able to switch lower mounts out and make it mount to your PSL properly, kalinka should have them

https://kalinkaoptics.com/posp-sks-...ack-finish-for-posp-scopes-hot-swappable.html something like this might work for you contact them and see if it works for your scope.
