Bear Creek Arsenal had AR-10 .243 heavy barrels on sale for $100. I do not need one but for $100, what the heck.
I put it together and after some load development it is shooting 3/4 to 1 MOA. Best group so far, 87gr vmax, 4 out of 5 in .55" at 150 yards.
Still have a lot of work to do but man oh man is this thing ever shooting !!!
Who would have thunk a $100 barrel would shoot like this !

I used one of their barrels in my 6.5 Grendel build. I've gotten 5 shot groups at 100 yards as down to .658" I was using 123gr SST bullets.

If you are having good luck and I am also. They must make good barrels.

I've had one shoot close to Moa. I've also seen them shot 7moa. I've seen multiple that were not properly headspaced.

They'll keep replacing them until they get it right if you have patience

Bear Creek believes in the accuracy of their barrels.

BCA's expectations are that our Barrels, 16 inches or longer, will hold a 1.000" MOA at 100 yards with appropriate ammo and shooting techniques.

I have one in 7.62x39 on an anderson lower and frankenstein parts upper. I've found it to be very accurate considering the round. Barrel is very easy to shoot with.
I also have a 6.5 grendel in similar configuration. I don't have as many rounds through it, but no complaints so far.
