    • lol, I have never used this section of the forums before. I posted on the page that the notification pointed me to and it seems to have disappeared, so I will try again...

I am always surprised just how many people on the forums are from around here. I actually live in the neighborhood right by the Golden Years retirement village off Maysville.

I wish I had people to cook paleo for me at work, lol. I actually have yet to meet another paleo dieter in person.
I purchased all 3 of my scope mounts for my Millett scopes from C.N.I. Inc. A small gun shop in Crown Point, who is now out of business. I bought 2 of my Millett scopes from him as well. But one of my DMS-1 scopes was purchased used from another INGO member here on the internet.

As for eye relief, I never measured it, but on my AR15 style rifles I set the rear of edge of the optic to be right over the top of the charging handle, which is at the back edge of the upper receiver and/or the leading edge of the buttstock.
Regarding the 458 Socom, I buy loaded ammo on line from various sources and I also reload. I built the gun for deer hunting but have not taken a deer with it yet as I finished it after deer season. I had it configured with a different stock and grip during season but didn't use that gun. The scope is a Milett DMS-1, its an illuminated Dot In Donut 1 to 4x scope and I like it so much I bought a second one for another rifle. They are modestly priced and good quality.
Yes, 21st Century is in Bluffton. Awesome place, awesome staff. The only gun shop I would go through, personally.

I've been a member here for maybe 5 or 6 months. This board is full of great information and people who are willing to help you with any questions or concerns you might have. Most of the folks here have a level head and an open mind, but as every message board you have a few bad apples in the bunch. All and all it's a great site and one I will always call "home".

I hope you find this site as helpful as I have. Seriously a great group of people. Hope to see you around from time to time. It'll be worth your while!
Yep, you got it Washington Twp Fire Dept, my Fulltime is out at the Airport Public Safety (Police/Fire)
