Oh man! That thing sounds brutal! The only new thing I have to report is that I have been horsing around with Hodgdon Longshot powder, made some VERY efficient .357 with it (125gr going 1400, but LITTLE bang, more mild boom, little flash).
I was very impressed with them. I talked with the younger gentleman(kinda tall lanky fella) and he was sharp. They were pretty busy and I didn't have much time. I'll definitely be going back, at minimum to spend a few lunch hours.
I've read quite a few reviews about the Bersa. When I handled it, it was like butter to bread. I especially like the safety lock-out features since I have a 12 year old son. Slide was smooth, mag dropped/inserted nicely and over at around 24 oz unloaded it was great. The guy also highly recommended it.
I'm after a Mosin 91/30 and saw they had plenty in stock. That'll probably be the first purchase with the right price.
OK Vern.
I will bring the Cronny to Eagle Creek tomorrow morning.
I will load up some 7.62 X 25 and try to get to the 357 Max tonight.
I got some new springs for the CZ97 and want to see how it cycles.
I have an Old Speer Manual that still lists a bunch of stuff, .357 max is one, along with .357 herret and much much more . Cant wait to see one of those puppies go off! Incidentally, I have loaded a bunch of "m855" i needed to see if were up to 16" barrel specs of real M855. If you bring the chrono, give me a yell!
