    • David,
Sorry I missed your message. The Ak74 does have some feeding issues from time to time. Some times they don't get lifted high enough to chamber correctly. Are they hanging on the edge of the chamber? if you google AK74 failure to feed, you might find some additional info.

Mine did have some trouble. I put a century trigger in it and the trigger was a little to thick causing the bolt to be pushed up over the round in the magazine. I replaced the trigger with a tapco G2 and that didn't push the bolt as high and fixed most of my feeding issues. I still have some problems from time to time but mine has gotten better with use also, so now I don't have too many failures, just every once in a while.

There seems to be a GREAT DEAL of interest in the 45. You need to get hired and manage the company. Wouldn't that be sweet?
Still just rumors as far as I know. I think they've been so busy trying to keep up with existing products, they don't have time to. I think it would be worth it to them to hire more folks and start crankin' them out though!!! :dunno:
Hi Dave, I'm not going to be much help on this one, I'm afraid. The answer to the magazine question is "no". As for the stock, I have read that there is some install issues that require slight "fitting" to operate smoothly. I'm going to have to once again refer you to the forum. http://www.hipointfirearmsforums.com...board,3.0.html
Also.... search the forum for "magazine modification" and you'll find where some folks claim the ProMags can be modified to work. Sorry I wasn't of more help. .....
Hi Dave, I own one of the 9mm carbines and love it. As far as what to avoid, I don't believe there are any bad years or serials. One thing to note is that only the factory 10 round mags feed correctly. ProMag makes a 15 rounder but it is hit or miss at best as far as functioning. Price??? Now a days I simply don't know what they are going for. The MSRP is $220 for the black and $235 for the camo.. And as always, like any H/P there's the unlimited, no-questions asked warranty. Here's a great resource for any tech. info. ----> http://www.hipointfirearmsforums.com/Forum/index.php/board,3.0.html
Hope all is well with you and yours!!! :-)
I will give my best dist a call but all of them show them to be allocated. Things are bad out there to get just about any gun. Dick
He can find me one for $375 + $20 ffl fee, tax and s/h -- a great price Can you give your email address so I can map quest the distance and travel time? It looks like it might be a little too far to make sense. Thanks
Yes, but since it is in Indiana I still have to charge sales tax. Ask you FFL if he can match the price, not a lot of margin but for a special order he might be able to do it. If not then we can take care of you. Yes, $15.00 for S&H is fine.
      Thanks,
      David.
