      Used to work up near 465 and Michigan Rd. Lived at Eagle Creek Apartments. It was reasonable back then (comparitively), but it's been 12+ years since then. Twenty-minute commute. You might check them out.

      Looks like the rent is a little higher than you were looking for (see below), but I bet if you divide the price by the sq. footage you'll find the $/sq. ft. is pretty good.

      A Apartment 910 sqft $625
      B Apartment 940 sqft $650

      It was around $415 when I lived there years ago (floorplan A), fwiw. Best wishes.
