High end wooden music stand from the Early Music Stands Company, who made “music room furniture” in the 1970’s. Has dovetail joinery on the desk portion, and comes apart in a rather clever way for shipping or taking to concerts. This would make a special Christmas gift for the musician in your family.
New was nearly $400; still in perfect condition. When you can find one on eBay they sell for about $150 used. Price: $50 Sold
Will drive up to 30 minutes for a FTF. I live in Brown County. I make trips to Columbus and Greenwood occasionally.
Wood – cherry
Model – Solo Stand 1000 (I believe)
Condition – Excellent
Adjustable height
Detachable legs
The desk portion that holds music tilts to 3 different angles, has arm extensions to hold wider music, can swivel or lock into position, can be removed to be replaced by a double desk (not included) for a duet
Packs down easily and quickly for transport
The Early Music Stands Company was replaced by the Alden Lee Company, who still makes the stands.
