    PRICED AT $5,995 CASH ......

Having decided to go into Striper fishing in a big way this year, I'm reluctantly listing my Triton 1650DS Duck Special for sale. The boat is in excellent condition. This is a great boat ! It's very stable. The boat has a removable live well, so it will serve dual purpose as a great river or lake fishing boat, too. The 25 HP Yamaha outboard with electric start is bullet proof. Included are 3 Triton camouflage seats, and a heavy duty Triton road cover.

This boat is a duck huntin', crappie fishin', catfishin', bow fishin' machine !

    Here's The Description From Triton:

Waterfowl hunters have special needs in an aluminum boat. It must be roomy enough for hunters, dogs, decoys and gear. Stability must be maximized for accurate shooting. It must be capable of slipping into shallow backwaters and bayous, yet tough enough to withstand repeated impact from rocks and stumps. And it must fit into its surroundings so hunters can maintain a low profile while calling in birds.

At last there's a duck boat that meets all of these requirements: the new 1650 DS (Duck Special) from Triton. This rugged and functional aluminum boat is designed for the serious hunting enthusiast. It's 16 feet long with a 50-inch bottom and 74-inch beam. A tiller-steer boat with a horsepower rating of 40, the 1650 DS weighs approximately 460 pounds less engine and equipment. It can carry up to 5 persons/715 pounds. The raised front deck is standard with a folding pedestal seat and storage beneath. An optional aluminum floor is available and comes with a foam core for additional sound deadening quality. The 1650 DS, like other Triton aluminum boats, is crafted of super-tough .100-gauge 5052 aluminum for maximum durability and extraordinary puncture resistance. It features all-welded construction -- there are no rivets that may eventually loosen and leak. While most other aluminum boats use wood in key structural areas such as transoms and floors, there is absolutely no wood in any Triton aluminum boat, including the 1650 DS. Instead, transom and floor are reinforced with high-strength aluminum for maximum longevity. No wonder the 1650 DS, like all Triton aluminum boats, carries a limited lifetime hull warranty.

Most duck boats are bare-bones craft, but Triton's 1650 DS comes standard with many amenities, including bow storage, lockable gun/fishing rod box with built-in rod storage tubes, two camo seats on Lock-Track rails, camo gun box cushion and running lights. The ingenious Lock-Track extruded gunwale system, also standard, allows the boat to be quickly and economically upgraded with a full menu of custom-designed optional accessories to suit the individual hunter's needs, including tree clamp, dog boarding ladder, shotgun shell holder, trolling motor and depth finder brackets, and more. Triton's Olive drab paint is standard, and Mossy Oak's popular "Shadow Grass" pattern is also available as a stenciled and painted pattern. The bottom of Triton's 1650 DS is specially designed for maximum durability and performance. It features 6 each 1.25-inch strakes for enhanced structural integrity; these also help minimize sliding in hard turns. While competing aluminum boats use a "crimped" keel, which actually weakens the hull in this critical area, Triton insists on a separate oversized aluminum center keel for greatly enhanced impact resistance. A specifically designed bottom for use with jet outboards can also be specified for extreme shallow running.

The 1650 DS is available with a custom-fitted tubular frame trailer and can be equipped with a MotorGuide trolling motor, Lowrance depth finder, rear casting deck, steering console and other upgrades if desired.

Triton aluminum boats are built exclusively in Aberdeen, Miss. in a state-of-the-art, 92,000 square foot manufacturing complex. The Aberdeen area is famous for its aluminum boat production, and the workforce is comprised of the most experienced and highly skilled aluminum boat builders in the country. They're sold exclusively through authorized Triton dealers nationwide.
