SOLD!
WTS: 2000 Civic EX with B16a2 swap. This car is solid and fairly peppy when you need it to be. It was my daily driver for several years.
Listed locally and on Craigslist for $2000. INGO price is $1800.
Details:
Around 160k on the body. Less on the motor, but I don't have the exact number. Entire motor swap was pulled from a 2000 EM1 that was rear-end totaled with a Carfax confirmed 56k miles on it.
The good:
AEM Cold Air Intake
New front wheel bearings
New brakes- Ceramic pads and slotted rotors
5spd EM1 transaxle with short-throw shifter and Energy Suspension poly bushings.
Energy Suspension poly motor mount inserts.
Cat-back exhaust with test pipe. Sounds decent. Not farty and doesn't drone on the highway.
17" Konig wheels with Yokohama tires
Carbon fiber hood (needs polished or possibly re-cleared. looks great when wet as you can see in the pics. Dull when dry)
It's an EX body, so power windows, power locks, keyless entry, power sunroof, etc.
The bad:
Needs heater core. Holds coolant fine as long as you don't turn on the heater.
No A/C. It was removed with the swap.
Body is decent for a 17 year old car, but the previous owner had it repainted... probably maco or the like. Door jambs, trunk, and engine bay are still original forest green.
No trades, need money for a bike. Cash only. Located just south of Mooresville.
