This thing was my dad's. He can't start it anymore because of his shoulder. The pull cord is smooth but hard to pull. It's not a malfunction, it's because the thing doesn't have a clutch. It's always sucking. Your wife will not be able to start this but you more than likely can barring any bad shoulder.
Because of this, the safety wire has been disconnected. This means you can leave it running while you empty the bag now and not have to restart it every time. I will fix this if you want, but I'd leave it as is.
Starts first pull. Clean oil. Ready to clean your Yard up this fall.
This thing shreds leaves down to nothing. Good for composting or ease of disposal.
The chipper portion has never been used.
