GE 31" tube TV and Philips DVD player. [SOLD]
SOLD, Thanks!
Ibought this TV brand new from Best Buy 20 years ago on sale for $425.
The last +/- 12 years it's been in my guest room, and has gotten maybe a total of 5 hours of use TOTAL (Mario Cart and Super Mario World).
The back of the case says it's model "31GT660" if you'd like to research it.
The thing is pristine, it works perfectly. Picture and sound are great, no tube burn-in or anything. Non-smoking house, etc.
The ONLY possible issues:
It's heavy as heck.
It has that typical CRT high pitch whine at 16khz or whatever (supposedly- I can't hear it but my stepdaughter can).
Sometimes I have to push the power button twice to turn it on.
The remote looks a little bit worn (surface finish only, it works fine).
Obviously no HDMI input, but it does have S-Video, red/white/yellow RCA, and coax cable inputs, as well as left and right RCA audio output.
This would be perfect for someone wanting to run an old-school game system, or to use in a custom MAME cabinet, or to put up in the garage, cabin, or wherever.
This was the first TV that I ever bought new, and I kinda hate to get rid of it, but I need to lighten my footprint and I'm hoping to pass this on to a new home.
I know with flatscreens being so cheap, and everyone wanting HD, this isn't worth much. To be fair, I'm not asking much.
I'll hand it off IN PERSON for $25 cash. If you want to trade me 2 new or 3 used USGI mags or Magpul PMags, that's fine too. I just can't get myself to donate/toss something that still works perfectly.
I'm in the Carmel/Westfield area, just north of Indianapolis. This will fit in the back of my Jeep for a meetup but obviously I'd prefer to meet somewhere in my area. Like real close. LOL.

Also I have an almost brand new very low profile Philips DVD player, model DVP5140/37. I bought this for my living room back in 2007, and that's about when my living room TV got replaced with one with HDMI and I immediately replaced this player with a different one with HDMI output.
It's probably had less than 6 hours of use on it total, honestly.
This has regular RCA audio/video out, and it also has component video out and digital audio out.
Includes remote and red/white/yellow RCA cable.
I'll sell it with the TV for an additional $20 cash, or add a couple more mags to a trade. Same deal, local pickup.
