So I recently purchased a savage bolt action .308 that had been victimized by someone, they installed an aftermarket trigger and omitted the bolt release assembly in doing so. On my initial in counter with Savage to purchase the needed parts the young lady I spoke with actually sent me the parts requested free of charge about $10.00 worth, upon receiving them I then found out why they omitted the release, it seems the trigger used was not the correct trigger for my model. So I called Savage back a second time to purchase an Accu-trigger and again $60.00 worth of parts shipped free of charge for a rifle that was built in 2011. That's awesome customer service.
